LEONIA, N.J. - The University of Pennsylvania lightweight crews had a successful day at the National Collegiate Lightweight Invitational on Saturday, with the top top two Eights both winning twice.
The Varsity Eight beat Dartmouth by six seconds in its first race on the day, then followed up with an eight-second victory.

The Second Varsity Eight downed the Big Green by almost three seconds in its first race on Saturday and followed up with a three-second win over the Hoyas.

Penn's Third and Fourth Eights raced Georgetown, the 3V8 taking first and the 4V8 third between the Hoyas.

Penn also rowed a pair of Fours in a race, the V4B taking second behind Dartmouth and the V4A fourth in the race behind third-place Cal.
