CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Junior
Matthew Fallon captured his second-career Ivy League title in the 200-yard breaststroke as the University of Pennsylvania men's swimming and diving team completed the 2024 Ivy League Championships in fourth place with 909 points.
Fallon outpaced his competition, swimming the first sub-1:50 in NCAA Division I this season to break his second Ivy meet record of the day, after setting the mark earlier during the preliminary heats.
Quaker Notemeal
*Fallon put himself back on the top of the podium for the first time since 2022, swimming a 1:49.75 to take the gold medal in the 200 breast. He claimed the Quakers' third-ever Ivy title in the 200 breast, the 43rd individual title in program history. Fallon's just the ninth Quaker in program history to win two or more Ivy titles.

Peter Whittington took seventh place (1:57.07) and
Jason Schreiber (1:57.47) placed eighth.
Matt Leblanc took fifth in the B-Final with a time of 1:58.92.

Kevin Keil registered an 11th-place finish in the 1,650-yard freestyle, timing in with a B-Cut time of 15:22.05.

James Curreri took fifth in the 200-yard backstroke (1:44.24), while
Daniel Gallagher placed seventh (1:45.57).
Benji Ham won the C-Final (1:47.95).

Ben Feldman (43.86) and
Liam Campbell (43.96) placed third and fifth, respectively, in the 100 free B-Final.
*In the B-Final of the 200-yard butterfly,
Sam Donchi swam a 1:46.65 to place fourth and
Andrew Dai placed fifth (1:46.67).
Peter Lee took seventh place with a time of 1:49.11.
*In the final event of the weekend, the Quakers placed seventh in the 400 free relay as Dai, Fallon, Campbell, and Feldman swam a 2:56.56.
Up Next
With his top time and an NCAA A-Cut mark, Fallon qualified for NCAA Championships for a third consecutive year. Nationals are set to begin March 27 in Indianapolis.
