PRINCETON, N.J. – Dylan Throop paced Penn, finishing second in the Ivy League Heptagonal Cross Country Championship men's 8k race on Saturday, running the fastest time in program history at the Heptagonal Championships.
Throop safely secured his second All-Ivy First Team cross country honors recording a personal-best time of 22:46.4. Harvard's Graham Blank defended his league title crossing the finish line first.
Senior Luke Johnson clocked in second for the Quakers finishing 15th with a time of 23:25.9. Nick Carpenter and Sahil Dodda scored 23rd(23:51.5) and 24th (23:52.3), respectively.
Freshman Olivia Williams led the women's team placing 18th with a personal-best 6k time of 20:51.6, second among freshmen in the Ivy. Miranda Schriver followed closely behind finishing 21st with a personal-best time of 20:54.7.
