PHILADELPHIA – The University of Pennsylvania cross country squads open the 2023 slate on Friday evening at the Lehigh Invitational. The women will start the event at 5:30 p.m., and the men follow at 6:15 p.m., on the Goodman Campus Cross Country course.
Â
This will mark the first of three showings for the Quakers on the course this season, returning on September 30 for the annual Paul Short Invitational and then later on November 10 for the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional Championships.
Â
Penn is competing in the Lehigh Invitational for the first time since 2021. That year the women's team took fifth and the men earned third on the 6K course.
