PRINCETON, N.J. – At the end of three days of competition at Princeton University's Big Al Invitational, the University of Pennsylvania men's swimming and diving team held steady and took third place with 526.5 points at DeNunzio Pool.

Notable performances in the final session include
Daniel Gallagher's runner-up finish in the 200-yard backstroke A-Final, while
Jason Schreiber took third in the 200-yard breaststroke.

The host Tigers finished first in the team standings with 891.5 points, holding off Penn State (817) for second.

Quaker Notemeal
*Gallagher capped a strong weekend in the pool with another stellar finish, swimming a 1:42.85 in the 200 back to take second place, while
James Curreri's 1:45.21 was good enough for fifth place. Gallagher's mark was an NCAA B-Cut time.

*Schreiber was near the top of the pack in the 200 Breast A-Final, taking third place with a time of 1:56.01.
Matt Leblanc came in sixth (1:57.60), while
Peter Whittington won the B-Final with a time of 1:56.61. Schreiber and Whittington's times were B-Cut marks.

Ben Feldman tied for fourth in the 100-yard freestyle with Columbia's Zion James, timing in at 43.77.
Liam Campbell placed second in the B-Final (44.33) while
Alex Fu took second in the C-Final (44.86).

Kevin Keil's stellar weekend concluded with a fifth-place finish in the 1,650-yard freestyle, swimming an NCAA B-Cut time of 15:23.38.
Robert Melsom finished sixth (15:25.41).

Sam Donchi placed sixth in the 200-yard butterfly A-Final (1:46.26), while
Andrew Dai took third in the B-Final with a time of 1:47.11.
Peter Lee won the C-Final with a time of 1:49.22, while
Henry Sheils placed third (1:50.14).

*The Quakers ended the meet with a third-place showing in the 400 free relay as Feldman, Campbell, Fu and
Xavier Hill swam a 2:55.30.
