PRINCETON, N.J. – The University of Pennsylvania men's swimming and diving team continues to stay locked in third place in the standings after two days at Princeton University's Big Al Invitational at DeNunzio Pool.

With 335 points, the Quakers are well behind second-place Penn State (590) and Princeton (649.5) in first.

Penn had three swimmers appear in A-Final events with
Kevin Keil (400-yard individual medley),
Truman Armstrong (200-yard freestyle) and
Matt Leblanc (100-yard breaststroke).

*Keil's NCAA B-Cut time of 3:49.93 in the 400 IM headlined the evening for the Quakers. That mark was good enough to take fourth place in the A-Final. In the B-Final,
Jason Schreiber placed third (3:52.53),
Peter Whittington took fifth (3:52.95) and
Daniel Gallagher took sixth (3:53.94).

*Leblanc took fifth place in the 100 breast A-Final with a time of 54.39. Schreiber finished third in the B-Final (54.83) while
Ben Feldman had a second-place showing in the C-Final with a time of 55.36.

*Armstrong placed seventh in the A-Final of the 200 free with a time of 1:38.81.
Sam Donchi swam a tad faster in the B-Final with fifth-place finish of 1:38.39.

Ben Feldman finished with a time of 47.75 to win the 100-yard butterfly B-Final.
Andrew Dai took eighth (48.58).

James Curreri tied for fourth place in the B-Final of the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 48.76, matching George Washington's Karol Miynarczyk.
Liam Campbell tied for second (49.43) in the C-Final with Denver's Quinn Collins, while
Benji Ham took fifth (49.90).

*The Quakers received a fourth-place showing in the 200 medley relay as Campbell, Leblanc, Dai and Feldman swam a 1:27.63. Penn finished sixth in the 800 free relay as Curreri, Armstrong, Keil and Gallagher swam a 6:34.61.

*On the boards,
Cody Hopkins scored a 321.15 on the three-meter dive to place fifth, while
Jack Williams took sixth (307.25).

It's six events for the Quakers on the final day of competition, taking on the 1,650 free, 200 back, 100 free, 200 breast, 200 fly and the 400 free relay at the Big Al Invitational Sunday.
