PRINCETON, N.J. – The University of Pennsylvania rowing teams concluded the fall portion of the 2023-24 schedule on Sunday at the Princeton Chase. The three-mile, head-style race took place on Lake Carnegie.
 
Penn's best finishes on Sunday came in the Men's Heavyweight Eights Round 1 and Women's Eights Round 1 divisions, the Quakers 'A' boats finishing second in both. In the Men's Heavyweight Eights, which featured 35 boats, Penn's time was 12:48.705 which was behind only Princeton's 'A' boat (12:28.423). In the Women's Eights, the. 'A' boat was second in a field of 54 boats, clocking 14:31.163 across the course to finish behind only host Princeton's 'A' boat (14:16.030). Penn's 'B' boat took fourth in the Women's Eights division in 14:38.396, a half-second slower than third-place Rutgers 'A'.
