BOSTON – The University of Pennsylvania crews had strong performances at the Head of the Charles Regatta. The three-day festival of rowing concluded Sunday afternoon on the Charles River.

Penn had three second place finishes on the weekend, the heavyweights taking second in the Men's Championship Fours and the lightweights taking second in both the Men's Lightweight Fours and the Men's Lightweight Eights. The women had a third-place finish in the Women's Club Fours on Saturday. Overall, Penn won the MacMahon Cup Points Trophy, racking up 865.68 over the weekend. Princeton was second, with 857.2.
