The Series: Bucknell
The teams have not met in more than 60 years, with Bucknell taking the most recent encounter way back in 1960. Before that, the teams squared off five times between 1889 and 1958, with Penn going 4-1 in those five contests.

NEWS, NOTES, and NUMBERS: PENN
0  With a sweep of Princeton over the weekend, Penn completed the regular season without losing a single Ivy League series. The Quakers swept Princeton, Brown, and Cornell, and took two of three from Columbia, Dartmouth, Yale, and Harvard. Including non-conference, Penn has won 10 straight series dating back to mid-March

1  Wyatt Henseler needs one more home run to set the new single-season home run record (13), currently shared by Henseler, Tom Olszak (1979), and Will Davis (2010). Henseler hit the record-tying blast last Wednesday against Delaware.

14  Joe Miller recorded 14 strikeouts on Sunday against Princeton, the most by an Ivy League pitcher in any game (conference and non-conference) this season.

31  The Quakers set a new program-record with their 31st win of the season over the weekend, breaking the previous record of 29 set by the 1989 team.

117  With a ninth-inning single against Princeton in the final game of the Ivy series on Sunday, Henseler set a new single-season program record with 117 total bases. Henseler has hit safely in 37 of 44 games this season, including eight 3+ hit games.

137  Penn has outscored its opponents by 137 runs this season (336-to-199), including 11 wins by at least six runs.

448  Penn's pitching staff has struck out a program-record 448 batters this season, with 13 pitchers recording 10 or more and four pitchers recording 40 or more.

Scouting Bucknell
The Bison swept Lehigh over the weekend to advance to the Patriot League Championship Series and will be seeking their first three-game winning streak since the end of March on Wednesday.

Five everyday players are hitting over .300, with Chris Cannizzaro (.342) leading the way for a Bison squad hitting .283 for the season as a team; Cannizzaro's .960 OPS is also tops on the team, with 19 of his 52 hits going for extra bases. Kendall Pierson enters Wednesday on a team-high seven-game hitting streak.

On the hill, Tyler O'Neill is the only pitcher with an ERA under 4.00. Starters Austin Odell and Will Greer are not far behind O'Neill, checking in with ERAs of 4.15 and 4.21, respectively. Greer, Odell, and O'Neill also rank first, second, and third on the team in innings pitched and strikeouts as well.
