T&F Sets Four Program Top-10 Marks On Day Two of Penn Relays

PHILADELPHIA – The University of Pennsylvania track and field team conclude day two of the 2022 Penn Relays presented by Toyota with four more record book marks on Friday.
 
On the men's side, Enoch Cheung clocked a time of 14.30 in the 110 hurdles to move into ninth in program history.
 
The other three marks were on the women's team, led by Katherine Muccio who put up a time of 13.82 in the 100 hurdles to land third in the record book. Over at the pole vault, Nataliaa Ilieva took third place with a height of 3.93m (12-10.75) to shift to fifth in history. The last record book mark was in the 4x400, as Isabella Whittaker, Jocelyn Niemiec, Caia Gelli, and Aliya Garozzo combined for the seventh best time in program history (3:37.74) to qualify for the Championship of America on Saturday.
 
The Quakers had a lot of top 10 finishes throughout the day as well. For the men, the 4x100 team of Aaron Stillitano, Emerson Douds, Weston Wendt, and Enoch Cheung qualified for the final with a sixth-place finish and time of 41.32. The 4x200 Championship of America team also took sixth with a time of 1:25.54. The men wrapped up relays in the distance medley with a time of 9:53.16 for seventh off legs by Charlie King, Nick Faries, Kyle Miller, Mason Gatewood.
 
In the field events for the men, Mark Anselmi took eighth in the high jump with a clearance of 2.04m (6-8.25). Cameron Landis took ninth in the shot put with a throw of 16.66m (54-8).
 
On the women's side, the sprint medley Championship of America squad of Muccio, Skyla Wilson, Haley Rizek, and Bronwyn Patterson took eighth with a time of 3:58.22.
 
On the infield, Ilieva was joined by three teammates in the top 10 of the pole vault. Abby Norwillo also cleared 3.93 meters to take second, while Meghan Hart took seventh (3.78m) and Kai Eisenhardt took ninth (3.63m). At the high jump, Claire Moreau finished fourth with a clearance of 1.71m (5-7.25) while Addie Renner took eighth at 1.66m (5-5.25).
 
The Quakers finish the 126th running of the Penn Relays on Saturday.
