PHILADELPHIA – The University of Pennsylvania wrestling team will be well represented at the 2022 USMC US Open Championships in Las Vegas, Nevada next week. The five-day event will take place from April 27-May 1 at the South Point Hotel, Casino and Spa in Las Vegas. The event is set to feature multiple national championships and World Team Trials.

Penn will send five wrestlers to this year's US Open featuring four in the Senior Nationals (born 2004 or before) and another four in the U20 Nationals divisions. In addition to the five Penn Wrestlers, assistant coach Mark Hall will make the trip across the country for this year's US Open.

Wrestling in the Senior Nationals division is Jake Hendricks (82, Greco-Roman), Mark Hall (86, Freestyle), Nick Incontrera (79, Freestyle), and Doug Zapf (70, Freestyle).

The four wrestling in the U20 Nationals division is Josh LaBarbera (86, Freestyle & 87, Greco-Roman), and Kelly Dunnigan (61, Freestyle).
