NEW YORK, N.Y. – The University of Pennsylvania wrestling team competed at the 2026 Ivy League Wrestling Championships, hosted by Columbia on Sunday inside Levien Gymnasium. Junior Jude Swisher led the charge, earning the individual title at 157.
 
Swisher took down first-seeded Meyer Shapiro (Cornell) by decision, 8-3, to win Penn's sole title and Most Outstanding Wrestler of the tournament. Nine other Quakers earned podium spots, helping the Red and Blue earn third place as a team with 116.5 points.

*Swisher becomes the fourth Quaker to win an Ivy League Championships title.
 
*Davis Motyka (125), Evan Mouglian (133), CJ Composto (141), and Cross Wasilewski (149) all earned runners-up at their weights.
 
*Sean Seefeldt (165), Liam Carlin (184), and Martin Cosgrove (197) placed third, John Pardo (285) took fourth place, and Caden Bellis won the 174 fifth place bout to round out the Quakers on the podium.
 
*Freshman Motyka, junior Mougalian, senior Composto, sophomore Wasilewski, junior Swisher, and junior Seefeldt punched their tickets to the 2026 NCAA Championships starting on Thursday, March 19, at Rocket Arena in Cleveland, Ohio.
 
*Composto, Wasilewski, and Swisher made it to the final at their weights for the second-straight year.
