PHILADELPHIA – The University of Pennsylvania wrestling team gears up for the postseason on Sunday, March 8, heading to Columbia for the 2026 Ivy League Wrestling Championships.

Penn at the Ivy League Championships
*At the inaugural Ivy League Championships in 2025,
Ryan Miller (133),
CJ Composto (141), and
Cross Wasilewski (149) won the individual crowns at their weights to help lead Penn to a second-place finish as a team.

Max Gallagher (125),
Jude Swisher (157), and
Maximus Hale (184) were runners-up at their weights to trail the individual champions.

Nick Incontrera (174) and
John Pardo (285) captured the third-place bouts at their weights, followed by
Andy Troczynski (165) and
Nate Taylor (197), placing fourth to even out the Red and Blue with top-five finishes at the inaugural event.
Quaker Notemeal
*Penn closed out dual action in the Palestra back on February 19, outlasting Rider 22-18 on Senior Day. With the meet sitting at 19-18 heading into the final bout, heavyweight Pardo secured the win for the Red and Blue and snapped the Broncs' three-meet win streak.

Evan Mougalian (133), Composto (141), Swisher (157),
Sean Seefeldt (165),
Liam Carlin (184), and sophomore Pardo won their matches to account for the Quakers' 22 points in the win. #9 Composto took the sole top-15 matchup in the meet, topping #14 Eli Griffin, 8-5.
*The Ivy League announced its 2026 All-Ivy Teams on Thursday afternoon, with junior Mougalian leading the charge with First Team All-Ivy.
Davis Motyka, senior Composto, sophomore Wasilewski, and junior Swisher landed Second Team All-Ivy, while juniors Seefeldt and Martin Csogrove were named Honorable Mention All-Ivy.
*The Ivy League released the seeding for the 2026 championships earlier this week, with Motyka (125) and junior Mougalian (133) earning #1 seeds. Composto (141), Wasilewski (149), and junior Swisher landed #2 seeds, followed by Seefeldt (165), freshman Carlin (184), Cosgrove (197), and Pardo (285), garnering #3 seeds. Freshman
Caden Bellis earned the #4 seed at 174 to round out Penn's seeding.
*Six Quakers sit in the final NCAA Coaches Top-33 rankings heading into the postseason, with sophomore Wasilewski leading the charge at #6 in the 149 field. #9 Composto, #10 Swisher, #13 Mougalian , #19 Seefeldt, and #33 Motyka even out the Red and Blue in the rankings.
*Wasilewski carries an astounding 23-2 overall record and 9-1 dual record into this week's competition.
