PHILADELPHIA – The University of Pennsylvania softball team heads to Hawk Hill on Wednesday for a single game at Saint Joseph's. First pitch is scheduled for 4 p.m. Penn enters Wednesday's contest 9-23 and 5-7 in Ivy play while Saint Joseph's is 13-17 overall and 9-5 in A-10 contests.

Previewing Penn
Penn is amidst a four game losing streak coming off an 8-2 loss to Villanova on Wednesday and a three-game sweep at Harvard over the weekend. Sarah Schneider leads the Quakers with a .330 average, 32 hits, 26 runs scored, 19 RBI, nine doubles, and nine home runs. In the circle, Olivia Szewczyk leads the team with a 4.80 ERA in 23.1 innings pitched. Julia Longo has spent the most time in the circle for the Red and Blue as she has pitched 79 innings and leads the team with 47 strikeouts, five complete games and has the lone save on the season for Penn.

Previewing the Hawks
Saint Joseph's is coming off a 1-2 weekend against the Saint Louis Billikins at home. The Hawk's took the first game 9-3 but then dropped game two 8-7 and fell 4-2 in eight innings in the series finale. The Hawks have two players with averages above .300, Sarah Cancila (.323) and Jordan Hinkle (.313).  Madison Fife leads the team with 18 RBI, seven doubles, and five home runs. Emily Siler is the team leader in ERA (4.07), innings pitched (90.2), strikeouts (63), complete games (7), and wins (7).
