PRINCETON, N.J. – The University of Pennsylvania men's swimming and diving team continued action at the 2022 Ivy League Championships on Thursday at DeNunzio Pool on the campus of Princeton University.
The Quakers are in fourth place with a score of 304 points after seven events. Harvard leads heading into day three with a score of 570 points.
William Kamps came in third in the B Final of the 500 free thanks to touching at 4:21.81 while
Billy Fallon ended up in fifth in the heat with a time of 4:22.02.
Michael Foley was third in the C Final of the 500 free with a time of 4:25.36.
Matthew Fallon came in eighth in the A Final of the 200 IM with a time of 1:46.61.
A trio of Quakers competed in the B Final of the 200 IM led by
Neil Simpson (1:46.86) in third. Simpson was followed by
Keanan Dols (1:47.07) in fourth and
Kevin Keil (1:47.33) in sixth.
Jason Schreiber was third in the C Final of the 200 IM at 1:47.95.
Ben Feldman was second in the B Final of the 50 free with a time of 19.81.
Jack Hamilton came in fourth in the C Final of the 50 free thanks to posting a time of 20.45.
Cody Hopkins finished sixth in the B Final of the 1M diving event with a score of 266.30.
To close the night the Quaker quartet of
Ben Feldman,
Jack Hamilton,
Mark McCrary and
Andrew Dai came in fourth in the 200 free relay with a time of 1:20.30.
Day three of the Ivy League championships gets underway on Friday with the prelims starting at 11:00 a.m. followed by the finals at 6:00 p.m.
