PRINCETON, N.J. – The University of Pennsylvania men's swimming and diving team opened action at the 2022 Ivy League Championships on Wednesday evening at DeNunzio Pool on the campus of Princeton University.
The Quakers are in sixth place with a score of 98 points after two events. Harvard leads heading into day two with a score of 128 points.
The Red and Blue competed in the 200 medley relay and the 800 free relay on day one.
Mark McCrary,
Neil Simpson,
Ben Feldman and
Jack Hamilton finished in sixth place in the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:27.33.
The Penn Quartet of
Billy Fallon,
William Kamps,
Zachariah Althoff and
Daniel Gallagher came in fifth in the 800 free relay thanks to touching at 6:29.48.
Day two of the Ivy League championships gets underway on Thursday with the prelims starting at 11:00 a.m. followed by the finals at 6:00 p.m.
