AKRON, Ohio – For the second consecutive year, the University of Pennsylvania men's swimming and diving team took home the team title of the Zippy Invitational. The Quakers led the field in all four days and totaled 2,095.5 points.
On Sunday, Penn won four of the day's six events with five NCAA B-Cuts recorded and
Matthew Fallon, who recorded an NCAA A-Cut time of 1:50.28 in the 200-yard breaststroke.

Jason Schreiber and
Neil Simpson went 1-2-3 in the 200 breast. Fallon, who recorded the NCAA's best time in the 200 breast this season so far, got an NCAA A-Cut time while Schreiber (1:56.21) and Simpson (1:56.72) took home B-Cut marks.
Matt Leblanc got a sixth place finish (1:58).

Andrew Dai had himself a whale of a performance in the 200-yard butterfly (1:45.95), getting first and earning himself a meet and pool record in the event. It also landed Dai an NCAA B-Cut mark.
Sam Donchi finished fourth (1:47.74) while
Alex Fu took home fifth (1:49.48). Schreiber placed eighth at 1:51.64.

Ben Feldman had a strong weekend and capped it off by taking first place in the 100 free (43.66), tying the pool and meet record set by St. Bonaventure's Vlacheslav Shchukin in 2013.

James Curreri (1:43.91) and
Daniel Gallagher (1:44.31) took first and second place in the 200-yard backstroke, both NCAA B-Cut times.
Jack Hamilton finished seventh (1:49.67).

Michael Foley got a second place finish in the 1,650 free (15:32.50), while
Kevin Keil got fifth (15:47.97) and
Nicholas Grulke placed eighth (16:10.29).
*The Quakers closed the meet with a second-place finish in the 400 free relay as Hamilton, Fallon, Dai and Feldman timed in at 2:56.93.
*Penn was the only team to tally over 2,000 points en route to the team title. Cornell finished second with 1,879.5 points. Oakland got third (1,536), Keiser in fourth (1,413) and Clarion in fifth (764).
