The Series with Brown
The margin between the Quakers and Bears has been razor-thin for more than a decade. 11 of the last 12 contests have been draws or one-goal decisions, with six of the last eight going to overtime or double overtime.

All-time, Brown holds a 33-25-8 advantage, with a 6-5-2 edge since 2008, though Penn is 5-2-2 in the last nine matches at home.

About Brown
The Bears enter Saturday averaging just 0.6 goals per match in October (three goals, five matches), still seeking their first Ivy League win after playing to scoreless draws in two of their first three conference matches.

The youth movement is in full effect for Brown, as six of its top eight scorers are underclassmen. Freshman Jamin Gogo Peters and junior Kojo Dadzie have combined for seven of Brown's 13 goals this season.

In net, freshman Henrik Weiper has started nine matches, winning five while posting a 0.89 goals-against average and .805 save percentage.

Quaker Notemeal
* Penn's win over Cornell was its first against a ranked opponent since October 26, 2019 against #21/24 Yale (1-0, 2OT). It was also Penn's first win when allowing at least two goals since the 2021 season opener against Fairleigh Dickinson, also a 3-2 final.

* The 89th minute winner for Leo Burney was his second game-winning Ivy League score of the season; his 75th minute score broke a one-all tie against Yale back on October 1.

* The Quakers picked up their eighth straight victory, moving to 9-1-1. The win streak is the longest for the program since the 1972 Ivy League championship squad.

* The victory Saturday was Penn's sixth road win of the season, the most for the program since 1980. The program has never won seven road matches in one season.

* Stas Korzeniowski is the first Quaker with five goals and five assists in a season since Alec Neumann and Duke Lacroix both did it back in 2014.

* Penn has now won nine matches in a single season for the first time since the 2010 NCAA Tournament team finished 13-6. 2010 also marked the last time the Red and Blue started a season 3-0 in conference play.

* Among Ivy teams, Penn ranks first in scoring average, opponent scoring average, with an overall scoring differential of +23, nine goals better than any other conference team.

* Ben Stitz, Korzeniowski, Michael Hewes, and Burney rank 1st, T-2nd, T-4th, and T-8th in the conference in goals while Stitz, Korzeniowski and Hewes rank 1st, 2nd, and 7th in points.
