The Series with Princeton
Since 1973, the Quakers have a 15-29-3 all-time record against the Tigers. With a win in Friday's matchup, Penn would snap a 15-game stretch with its last victory coming in 2004 in New Jersey, 2-1. The last time the two squads met was November 9, 2019, on Vagelos Field. The Quakers put away the first goal of the game on a connection between Gracyn Banks and Meghan Ward off a corner, but the Tigers answered with three of their own to take the 3-1 showdown.

About Princeton
The Tigers are the only Ivy League school with double-digit conference titles, boasting 26 entering 2021. Since 2005, the program has won 13 championships. Princeton enters Friday's game with a 2-4 record this season, falling to four nationally ranked opponents: #1 North Carolina, #5 Louisville, #18 Duke, and #9 Maryland. This past Tuesday, the Tigers battled with the Terrapins on the road, falling in overtime, 4-3, on a rebound off a corner in the 68th minute.

The Series with Syracuse
The Quakers have only played Syracuse four times in program history with the Orange holding a slight 3-1 edge in the series. The 2018 season marked the last time the two teams faced off, needing penalty strokes to give Syracuse a tight 2-1 win in New York. Julia Russo scored the lone goal for the Quakers, giving Penn the lead in the 25th minute. The last time they met on Vagelos Field was 2017, as the Quakers earned a hard-fought 3-2 victory with back-to-back goals in the second half by Gina Guccione and Alexa Hoover.

About Syracuse
The Orange enter Sunday's game as #17 in the nation with a 5-2 record. They opened ACC play last weekend, handing #3 Boston College its first loss of the season, 3-1, after scoring the first three goals through 32 minutes of play. This past Wednesday, Syracuse earned a narrow victory over Cornell, 1-0, behind a Charlotte de Vries finish in the 39th minute.
