AKRON, Ohio – The University of Pennsylvania men's swimming and diving team concluded the 2021 Zippy Invitational on Sunday afternoon. The Quakers finished first overall with 2,304.5 points to top the seven-team field.
The Red and Blue got off to a strong start on day three, taking the 1-2-3 positions in the 1,650 free.
Billy Fallon won with a new pool and meet record of 15:22.72 while
William Kamps (15:26.63) came in second and
Michael Foley (15:31.46) finished in third.
The big day continued for the Quakers as
Mark McCrary won the 200 back with a new meet and pool record of 1:43.26. Coming in third in the race was
Daniel Gallagher at 1:44.90.
The Penn dominance continued in the 200 breast with the Red and Blue taking the top four spots.
Matthew Fallon won with a new pool and meet record mark of 1:49.71.
Jason Schreiber came in second (1:55.96) and he was followed by
Neil Simpson (1:56.35) and
Ben Feldman (1:59.99).

Keanan Dols was fourth in the 200 back with a time of 1:45.70.
*Nicholas Malchow came in third in the 100 free (44.92).

The Quakers will next compete in 2022, hosting Dartmouth and Yale in a tri-meet on Saturday, January 8 at Sheerr Pool.
