HANOVER, N.H. – The University of Pennsylvania men's squash team (7-1, 1-1) turned in another stellar performance, rolling over #11 Dartmouth 9-0. The win marked the team's first Ivy League victory of the season and fifth 9-0 win.
The Quakers got off to a hot start right out of the gate, with
Wil Hagen setting the tone with an 11-5, 11-8, 11-4 win. From there, the Quakers regained their dominant early season form, with
Aly Abou Eleinen recovering from a 12-10 opening game loss to only allow nine more points total in a 3-1 victory.
Freshman
Saksham Choudhary and
Dillon Huang turned in the most exciting matches of the day, with Choudhary maintaining his undefeated collegiate start by recovering from a first-game loss.
Dillon Huang was down 1-2 in the final match of the day but managed to secure the final point. A thrilling fourth game win helped spring an incredible victory for the freshman.
Last season's team recorded six total wins by a final score of 9-0. This current team has recorded five in just eight games, the most since the 2006-07 team tallied five in their first six games. The victory is also Penn's seventh win in a row against the Big Green.

The Quaker men return to action with another tremendous challenge next weekend, as they battle #2 Trinity on January 18 at 11 a.m. After that, the Quakers finally return home for a battle against #4 Princeton on January 29.
