Biography
2021-22: Competed in five matches at three different spots in the lineup during the season … Won all five matches without dropping a game … Dropped a total of 31 points across first three victories of the season against Chatham’s Alaaeldin Abdelhalik (11/13), Dickinson’s Patrick Noonan (11/14), and Navy’s Gus Prager (11/20) … Picked up Ivy League win over Dartmouth’s Graham Joyce in final appearance of the season (1/16).
2020-21: All 2020-21 Ivy League winter sports were canceled on November 12 due to a nationwide outbreak of coronavirus COVID-19.
2019-20: Competed in 13 of 17 varsity matches, going 10-3 in team play and 1-1 in individual action … Helped lead Penn to its first Potter Cup final and a second-place finish … Spent most of the season at the No. 9 spot but also made appearances at No. 8 and No. 6 … Went 5-1 in Ivy League play … Won all but one of his matches by a 3-0 score … Made collegiate debut with a 3-0 win against Dickinson (11/16) … Won first Ivy League match, 3-0, at Dartmouth (1/12) … Won five straight official matches from 1/29 to 3/6 … Competed in the CSA Individual Championships and entered the Molloy Cup (B Division) … Recorded a Round of 16 victory over Bard’s Theodore Webb before falling in the quarterfinals (3/6) … Also went 1-0 in exhibition matches.
High School: Member of India’s national team at the 2019 World Junior Championships in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia … Advanced to the semifinal round at the Asian Junior U19 Championships ... Recorded third-place finishes at the Hong Kong Junior U19 Open and British Junior U17 Open ... Recognized by school for being an outstanding sportsperson in squash at the national and international level in 2017 and 2018.
