Biography

2022-23: Second Team All-America … Became fifth Quaker in program history to win 50 matches and third to reach the mark in three years … Finished team competition 15-0, including 5-0 in Ivy play … Went 4-0 at CSA Individuals and won Molloy Cup championship, finishing the year 19-0 and pushing career winning percentage over 86 percent (52-8) … Posted five-game win over Harvard’s Denis Gilevskiy, rallying from 1-2 deficit (1/22) … Rallied from 0-2 deficit for five-game win over Trinity’s Ahmed Ismail (1/29) … Beat Yale’s Tad Carney in five games, rallying from 1-2 deficit in Potter Cup third-place match (2/26) … For second time during the season, rallied from 1-2 deficit for five-game win over Harvard’s Denis Gilevskiy in Molloy Cup semifinal (3/4).

2021-22: Competed in 16 of 19 varsity matches across the No. 3, No. 4, and No. 5 spots in the lineup, winning at least four matches at each spot … Won 10 matches 3-0, including his first seven of the season … Rallied from 0-2 deficit for five-game win against Harvard’s Adam Corcoran (1/15) … Rallied from 0-1 deficit for another five-game win, this time over Yale’s Maxwell Orr (1/23) … Rallied from a second 0-2 deficit against Harvard’s Corcoran for a five-game win in Potter Cup final (2/20) … Picked up a pair of 3-1 wins at CSA Individual Championships over MIT’s Joe O’Connor and Cornell’s Spencer Yager (3/4).

2020-21: All 2020-21 Ivy League winter sports were canceled on November 12 due to a nationwide outbreak of coronavirus COVID-19.
 
2019-20: Appeared in all 17 varsity matches, one of only two players on the Quakers to play in every match … Combined to go 16-5 (13-4 in team play, 3-1 at Individuals) … Helped lead Penn to its first Potter Cup final and second-place finish … Spent most of the season at the No. 4 spot, but also went 3-0 at the No. 3 spot … Made collegiate debut on 11/16, winning 3-0 against Dickinson … Won first Ivy League match with a 3-2 win over Dartmouth’s James Bell (1/12) … Won seven straight matches from 1/29 to 2/29 … Defeated Yale’s Siow Yee Xian, 3-0, for first career Potter Cup victory (2/28) … Defeated Trinity’s Thoboki Mohohlo, 3-2, to contribute to Penn’s first win over Trinity since 1996 (2/29) … Competed in the CSA Individual Championships in the B Division (Molloy Cup) … Defeated Bowdoin’s Tyler Shonrock in the Round of 16 and F&M’s Aryan Parekh in the quarterfinals (3/6) … Defeated Rochester’s Marcus Sim Wei Jie in the semifinal to secure his first B Division final appearance (3/7) … Fell to Harvard’s George Crowne in the final (3/8).

High School: Runner-up at the 2019 US National Championships … Member of United States National team that competed at the 2019 World Junior Championships in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia … Recorded 13 wins with just one loss in the Northern California Division III Squash League in 2012 ... Tallied a 12-2 record in the Northern California Division II Squash League ... Put together a 13-3 record in the Northern California Division I Squash league ... Reached the fourth rounds of the US Junior U19 Open and British Junior U17 Open ... Awana Citation Award recipient.
