Men's Squash Dominates #9 George Washington

PHILADELPHIA – The University of Pennsylvania men's squash team (3-0, 0-0) continued their sensational start to the season, throttling #9 George Washington (1-3) by a final score of 9-0. The win was the team's first against a top-10 opponent this season.

After going 6-3 against top-10 opponents in 2018-19, the Quakers were looking to start strong against the top competition in college squash. After making some adjustments to their lineup, the Quakers came out of the gate motivated and on fire.

Yash Bhargava played in the closest match of the day, giving up a 2-0 lead, but showing composure and taking the final fifth game. During that time, Andrew Douglas also turned in a great outing, rolling through the first two games before winning in four. The win marked the 30th win in just a little over two seasons for Douglas.

One of the most dominant showings of the day came from freshmen Dillon Huang. Huang remained undefeated in his collegiate career, and held his opponent to just eight total points, seven of them coming in one game. The 11-0 first game win was also the first by any Quaker man this season.
