Holding the lead in the all-time series over the Bulldogs, the Quakers have had succes in recent years against Yale, unbeaten in their last six matchups with the Elis. Last season the two battled to a 1-1 draw in New Haven, but 2016 and 2017 saw a combined 7-1 difference in goals in favor of Penn. The Quakers have not lost on Rhodes Field to the Bulldogs since a 2-1 setback in overtime in 2011.

Joey Bhangdia leads Penn with six goals on the season, ranking second in the Ivy League. His total of three game-winning scores is tied for tops in the league.

Jack Rosener tallied his first collegiate goal at a crucial moment on Tuesday, vaulting Penn past University City rival Drexel in overtime, 1-0. Rosener has played in all 12 matches his rookie season, making five starts.
Lending a Helping Hand
Jake Kohlbrenner has emerged as a catalyst for jump starting plays in the penalty box for the Quakers, with three assists this season. The junior has seven assists in his career, along with six goals for 19 points.
On Top of the City
For the first time since 2014, the Quakers will end the season atop the Philadelphia Soccer Six standings, earning two 1-0 victories over both Temple and Drexel for a perfect 2-0 mark in the city series. Penn is unbeaten in its last four contests between city opponents.

The Quakers are top-20 in the nation in fouls per game, committing just over 10 a contest.
Scouting the Bulldogs
Ranked 24th in the latest United Soccer Coaches poll, the Bulldogs are 9-1-2 on the year, coming off their first loss of the season in overtime to defending NCAA champion Maryland. Yale is a perfect 3-0 in the Ivy League, defeating Harvard, Dartmouth and Cornell each by a 3-1 score. The Bulldogs boast a potent offensive attack in Ivy League-leading goal scorer Miguel Yuste, who has seven on the season, while Mark Winhoffer leads the conference with nine assists. Yale has outscored its opponents 26-8 on the year, with Elian Haddock between the pipes sporting an 0.826 save percentage.
