PHILADELPHIA – The University of Pennsylvania volleyball team (9-7, 2-5) returns home for a brief one game homestand, as they host Princeton (10-6, 6-1) for their second matchup of the season. Princeton knocked off the Quakers on September 27th in New Jersey.

Quaker Notemeal
*The Quakers notched an Ivy League road win on October 18th at Dartmouth. The win was their first Ivy League road win since October 13th, 2017 at Columbia.
*Sophomore
Daniela Fornaciari and freshman
Caroline Douglas were named to the Ivy League Honor Roll on October 21st. The award is the second of its kind for Fornaciari and first for Douglas.
*Douglas tallied 19 digs, two assists and a service ace in the weekend series against Dartmouth and Harvard. Her 13 digs against Harvard are her most against any Ivy League opponent.
*Fornaciari tallied 24 kills, 28.5 points (including a career-high 15.5 against Dartmouth), five blocks, four digs, a service ace and an assist over the weekend against Dartmouth and Harvard.
*Fornaciari ranks sixth in the Ivy League in total blocks (47), seventh in hitting percentage (.333) and ninth in blocks-per-set (0.81).
*Fornaciari tallied a single-game career-high in kills against Dartmouth on October 18th with 12 kills, then tied it the next day against Harvard. Fornaciari has tied or set a career-high in kills in four of the last six games.

Margaret Planek ranks fifth in the Ivy League in total points (204.5), sixth in total kills (166), tied for sixth in points-per-set (3.30), tied for seventh in service aces (18), tied for eighth in kills-per-set (2.68) and ninth in service aces-per-set (0.29).
*Junior
Parker Jones ranks fourth in the Ivy League total points (212.5), fourth in kills (194), fifth in kills-per-set (3.03), and fifth in points-per-set (3.32).
*Sophomore
Carmina Raquel leads the Ivy League in digs (278), while also leading in average digs-per-set (4.34).
*Raquel's 27 digs against Chicago State on September 14th remain an Ivy League single-game high for a five-set match.
*Sophomore
Kylie Kulinski's 62 assists against Cal State Fullerton on September 21st remain an Ivy League single-game high this season.
*Junior
Caroline Leng ranks seventh in the Ivy League in total blocks (46) and tied for seventh in blocks-per-set (0.85).

Previewing the Tigers
*The Tigers enter the matchup at 10-6, tied for first place in the Ivy League with Cornell and Yale. The Tigers are amid a four-game win streak, including a dominant 3-0 win over Yale. The Tigers are led by four All-Ivy competitors from last season, with right side hitter Maggie O'Connell and outside hitter/right side hitter Devon Peterkin from the first team and setter Jessie Harris and middle blocker Clare Lenihan from the second team. In addition, outside hitter Natasha Skov is poised to one day join the four, having won back-to-back Ivy League Player of the Week honors this season.
