PHILADELPHIA - The University of Pennsylvania softball team (12-15, 7-5 Ivy) gets set for what is the biggest Ivy series of the season thus far for the Red and Blue. The Quakers will play a three-game series against the Crimson, who they trail by just a game, beginning Friday at 3 p.m. and then wrap up with a double-header on Saturday at 12:30 p.m. The third game originally scheduled for Sunday, was moved up to the series opener on Friday due to weather.

Scouting Harvard
* The Crimson are 15-12 this season with an 8-4 record in Ivy play.
* Harvard took two of three games against Columbia last week.
* In other common opponent games, the Crimson took two of three against Yale, losing game three of that series 7-0.
* Leading Crimson batters with a .427 batting average and eight multiple RBI games is senior outfielder Maddy Kaplan.
* In the circle, Katie Duncan has posted a 10-7 record with a 2.99 ERA.
