How It Happened
The Quakers have been building serious momentum in the last two games and continued those ways in the first inning, placing four on the stat sheet. Senior Jade Montgomery gave Penn its first home run at Penn Park of the year with a three-run shot to dead center.

Before scoring again, right-hander Ainsley Pemberton took care of business on the mound. Pemberton went four innings, giving up three hits while striking out three and walking none. She has two stellar outings in a row to her name and will look to build on this moving toward conference play.

In the fourth inning, Penn scored in a variety of ways. A single from Delaney Smith, a steal at home, and an error all brought Quakers across the dish before a fifth inning single from Gigi Ganje sealed the deal and ended the game after five.
