Track & Field to Host Penn Classic

PHILADELPHIA – The University of Pennsylvania men's and women's track & field teams set to host the Penn Classic on Feb. 6 – 7 at the Ott Center.
 
Field events will begin on Friday at 11:00 a.m with running events starting at 4:30 p.m. Saturday's running events are scheduled to kickoff at Noon with the women's 3000m.

Last Time Out
At the Bob Pollock Meet, Nayyir Newash-Campbell placed second in the men's 400m race with a time of 46.08. Ryan Matulonis recorded a personal-best time of 46.56, ranked second all-time in program history.
 
Kampton Kam recorded a season-best 2.18m (7' 1.75") to win the men's high jump, ranked 12th in the NCAA. 
 
Freshman Jessica Oji claimed first place in the women's shot put with a mark of 18.32m (60' 1.25") 


Simeon Adams posted a personal-best time of 21.31 in the men's 200m, ranked fourth all-time in program history. Jailyn Milord ranked fifth all-time in the women's 200m at 24.01. 
 
At the Penn Invitational, Zofia Limbert cleared 1.68m (5' 6") in the women's high jump, placing second. Samantha Strydesky finished third at 1.63m (5' 4.25"). 
 
Benjamin Markham and Nicholas DeVita led the men's 800m with a time of 1:50.57 finishing first and second, respectively.
