Fencing Heads to Brian Palestis Memorial Invite at Wagner on Sunday

PHILADELPHIA – The University of Pennsylvania fencing programs are back in action this weekend, heading to Wagner on Sunday, Feb. 1, for the Brian Palestis Memorial Invitational.

The Field
Columbia, North Carolina, Penn State, St. John's, Vassar, and Yeshiva will join the Quakers and Seahawks in Staten Island.

*Penn hosted the Dave Micahnik Penn Invitational earlier this month, with the #7 men going 8-1 overall and the #8 women going 8-3.
 
*It was a big outing against Ohio State for the Young Family Head Coach of Fencing, Andy Ma, who claimed his 600th win as a head coach.
 
*On the men's side, Simon Lioznyansky leads the epee weapons with a 29-8 record, Jaesun Yun leads the saber athletes with a 30-9 record, and Conrad Lo leads the foil field with a 16-4 record.
 
*For the women, Grace Hu leads epee with a 34-11 record, Leah Blum leads the saber athletes with a 26-7 record, and Kimberly Jang leads the foil field with a 27-14 record.
