Miller Added to Training Camp Roster for Japanese Women’s National Team

PHILADELPHIA – After a strong freshman season for the University of Pennsylvania women's basketball team, Sarah Miller will be attempting to take her talents on the international level after being named one of 25 members of the Japanese Women's Basketball National Team's training camp roster.

Miller saw action in all 28 games for the Quakers during the 2024-25 season, making 11 starts at guard. She averaged 5.5 points per game on 37 three-pointers—ranked second on the team—while shooting 35.9 percent from beyond-the-arc.

She was named USBWA National Freshman of the Week after scoring a season-high 21 points on five treys in Penn's Big 5 Classic victory over La Salle on Dec. 6.

Miller will join Japan to take on Chinese Tapei in a pair of contests on June 7 and 8 in Inazawa City, all 25 individuals now contenders for the Japanese national team to participate in the 2025 FIBA Women's Asia Cup in Shenzhen, China from July 13 to July 20.
