Heavies Send All Three Eights to Petite Finals; Varsity Four Takes Fourth

CHERRY HILL, N.J. – The University of Pennsylvania men's heavyweight crew will have all three Eights row in Petite Finals on Sunday at the IRA National Championships, as the Quakers look to better their seeds in the Varsity Eight (9) and Second Varsity Eight (8) and meet their seed in the Third Varsity Eight (7).

All three of Penn's Eights finished fifth in their respective A/B semifinals on Saturday. In the Quakers' final race of the day, the Varsity Four took fourth place in its grand final and just missed out on a medal. The three-day event is taking place on the Cooper River.
