T&F Concludes Regular Season at Princeton

PRINCETON, N.J.  The University of Pennsylvania men's and women's track & field teams closed out the regular season on Saturday competing at the Larry Ellis Invitational at Princeton. 

Zofia Limbert sits first in the Ivy League women's high jump clearing a personal-best height of 1.78m (5' 10"). Limbert ranks second on the Quakers all-time performance list. 

Christiana Nwachuku won the women's 200m dash crossing the finish line at 24.08. 

Edwin Klanke finished second in the men's 1500m clocking in a personal-best time of 3:40.79. Nick Carpenter placed fourth in the unseeded section with a time of 3:43.89. 

Nicolas Pizarro ranks 35th in the NCAA East Region recording a personal-best 800m time of 1:48.09, finishing fifth. 

Anastasia Russell recorded a personal-best 5000m time of 16:51.80, finishing sixth. 

In the field, Kai Deines finished fifth in discus throwing 52.77m (173' 1").

Mary Rozier placed fifth in the women's long jump with a mark of 5.92m (19' 5.25"). Rozier finished fourth in the 100m stopping the clock at 11.93. 

Tumi Onaleye took third in the triple jump recording 12.52m (41' 1").

Natalia Ilieva and Evangeline Thomson cleared the bar at 3.92m (12' 10.75") in the women's pole vault finishing sixth and seventh, respectively.

Penn travels to New Haven, Conn. on May 10 -11 to compete at the Ivy League Heptagonal Outdoor Championships, hosted by Yale.
