WORCESTER, Mass. – The University of Pennsylvania men's lightweight crews were unable to retain the Jope Cup at Sunday's EARC Sprints. The Quakers finished the day with 28.00 points in the Jope Cup standings, finishing one point behind Cornell (29.00) and two behind Princeton (30.00) in the battle for second place behind Harvard (39.00).
The Quakers' Second Varsity Eight won silver medals with a second-place finish on Sunday, the Fourth Varsity Eight was third and won bronze in its racing, while the Varsity Eight finished just outside the medal haul with a fourth-place finish and the Third Varsity Eight was fifth on the day.
