GOLD RIVER, Calif. – The 4V+ crew of the University of Pennsylvania lightweight team claimed gold in their final Saturday afternoon with a time of 6:40.12, becoming the IRA Lightweight 4+ champions for 2026.
 
This win is a significant one for the program. This win represents the first time winning this event at the IRA Regatta, as well as the first win of any kind at the IRA Regatta in program history.

In what has already been a great year for the lightweight crew, today's win elevates the season to new heights for the Quakers. With two juniors (Ethan Xi & Aden Anderson), a sophomore (Daya Allon), and two freshman (Campbell Cohen & Henry Alston), the future looks bright for Penn.
