PHILADELPHIA – The No. 48 University of Pennsylvania men's tennis team swept Dartmouth, 4-0, for its first Ivy League win of the season.
The Quakers secured the doubles point with two straight victories at No. 1 and 2.
Parashar Bharadwaj and
Tal Goodman won first with a score of 6-4 before
Aaron Sandler and
Sanjeev Chundu repeated that mark.
Manfredi Graziani bounced back and defeated his opponent at No. 1, 6-2, 6-2.
Shaurya Bharadwaj followed up his doubles partner with a straight sets victory himself.
Aaron Sandler clinched the match to keep his undefeated singles record alive at 8-0.
Chundu, Goodman and
Matthew Rutter all won the first set before their matches were called.
