PHILADELPHIA – The No. 47 University of Pennsylvania men's tennis team fell to No. 39 Cornell, 5-2, in the final home match of the season.
After the match, seniors
Baylor Sai and
Tal Goodman were honored for their contributions to the men's tennis program over the last four years.
The Big Red took the doubles point, winning at No. 2 and No. 3.
Sanjeev Chundu and
Aaron Sandler secured their 11th win together of the dual match season.
Sandler continued his unbeaten streak in singles, improving to 10-0.
Shaurya Bharadwaj showed resilience in his match. After dropping the first set and trailing 5-3 in the second set, the freshman came back to win the match in the 10-point tiebreaker.
