#13 WLAX Hosts #8 Yale for Senior Day Showdown on Saturday

PHILADELPHIA – The nationally ranked University of Pennsylvania women's lacrosse team returns to Franklin Field on Saturday, hosting #8 Yale for a Senior Day outing at 12 p.m.

The Penn vs. Yale Series 
*The all-time series between these two programs is pretty tight, with the Quakers holding a 27-21-1 advantage.
 
*Penn and Yale met twice last season, with the Bulldogs taking both matchups, including the overtime 10-9 win in the 2024 Ivy League Tournament final.
 
*In their most recent meeting in the ILT final, the Bulldogs came from behind after trailing 9-5 in the fourth to take the game and automatic bid to the 2024 NCAA Tournament in overtime. Anna Brandt led the charge for the Quakers in the outing with four goals.

*In the 13-12 win over the Terps, Keeley Block netted the game-winner with 24 seconds left of regulation to lift the Quakers to their second ranked win of the year.
 
*Erika Chung assisted five goals, while midfielder Brandt scored four to lead the offense in the victory.
 
*In the 10-8 folly against the Crimson, Catherine Berkery posted a team-high five points, including a hat trick.
 
*Goalkeeper Orly Sedransk made 24 saves between both battles, tying her career-high 13 against Maryland. 
*The Quakers will celebrate the Class of 2025 after the contest with Yale, honoring Paige Lipman, Brandt, Natasha Gorriaran, Chung, Grace Lillis, Block, Gracie Smith, Erin Sullivan, and Bella Kehoe.

*Yale brings a two-game win streak to University City this weekend, topping #6 Syracuse (13-10) and Dartmouth (12-6) last week.
 
*The Bulldogs hold two Ivy League losses this season, falling to Brown (14-11) and #9 Princeton (13-11).
 
*Jenna Collignon and Fallon Vaughn lead Yale's offense with 44 points each, with Collignon netting a team-high 44 goals.
