The Penn vs. Princeton Series
*The all-time series between these two programs is fairly close, with Princeton having a slight 30-26-3 edge.
*The Quakers carry a three-game win streak into Friday's contest.
Lela Greene lifted Penn to a 10-9 victory earlier this season, scoring the double-overtime game winner in Old Nassau.
*The Tigers' last win came from the 2024 season, when Princeton won the regular season battle 14-9 and Penn won the Ivy League semifinal bout 18-14.
Quaker Notemeal
*Penn split the final week of regular-season action, closing out non-conference play with a 20-8 win over Towson before falling 14-13 in overtime to Brown Sunday at Franklin Field.

Patricia Columbia-Walsh tallied 11 points across the week, carried by a hat trick in each game.

Natasha Yajadda put on the best performance of the week, scoring the first three goals of her collegiate career—two of them coming in the clash with Towson—while causing five turnovers between the games, including three against the Bears.
*The Ivy League announced its 2026 Women's Lacrosse postseason awards on Tuesday afternoon, led by
Orly Sedransk earning Goalkeeper of the Year for the second straight season.
*As for the All-Ivy honors,
Catherine Berkery and Sedransk grabbed First Team All-Ivy, attacker Columbia-Walsh, midfielder Greene, and defender Yajadda nabbed Second Team All-Ivy, and
Maggie Bankowski was named Honorable Mention All-Ivy.
*Junior Berkery has been an offensive force this season, leading Penn with 43 goals and 55 points.
*Keeper Sedransk has been solid in the cage to open the year, stopping 139 shots, while holding a 10.66 GAA and .460 save percentage.
*Sophomore Sedransk is pegged to have a strong second year earning Third Team USA Lacrosse and Inside Lacrosse Third Team Preseason All-American as well as a spot on the Tewaaraton Award Watch List.
*Senior Yajadda has been making a name for herself on the defensive end of the field, leading the Red and Blue with 22 caused turnovers on the year.
*Junior Bankowski has been dominant in the X for the Quakers through, leading the team with 81 draw controls.
Scouting the Tigers
*Princeton heads into the 2026 ILT as the #3 seed after finishing the regular season with a 5-2 conference record. The Tigers carry a four-game win streak over Columbia (18-7), Towson (20-9), Brown (11-9), and Dartmouth (17-7) into Friday's semifinals.
*The Tigers picked up two Ivy League postseason major awards, with Jami MacDonald earning Attacker of the Year and Amelia Hughes sharing Goalkeeper of the Year with Sedransk.
*MacDonald leads the Tigers' offense with 42 goals and 71 points. Haven Dora leads the squad with a team-high 47 assists.
*The Quakers will likely face Hughes in the cage. The keeper holds a 10.76 goals-against average, a .511 save percentage, and 163 saves on the season.
