PHILADELPHIA – The United States Fencing Coaches Association (USFCA) announced the recipients of the 2025 All-Region Awards on Monday night, with 13 from the University of Pennsylvania fencing programs landing spots.
Sabrina Cho (foil),
Gian Dhingra (saber),
Antonio Heathcock (saber),
Simon Kushkov (saber), and
Victoria Kuznetsov (epee) led the charge for Penn, earning First Team All-Mid-Atlantic/South Region in their weapons.
Katherine Andres (saber),
Leah Blum (saber),
Grace Hu (epee), and
Katina Proestakis Ortiz (foil) grabbed Second Team All-Mid-Atlantic/South Region.
Lenna Choi (foil),
Vivian Lu (saber),
Joseph Wu (epee), and
Nicholas Wu (foil) wrapped up the Quakers who landed spots on the teams with Honorable Mention All-Mid-Atlantic/South Region.
The Quakers are sending seven fencers to the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Championships this week, which will be held at Penn State from March 20 to 23.
