KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – The University of Pennsylvania men's tennis team bounced back, winning both matches of their Sunday doubleheader. The Red and Blue defeated Elon 4-0 in the morning before matching that score against Tennessee Tech in the afternoon.

Manfredi Graziani / Shaurya Bharadwaj set the tone for Penn in the morning, winning the first doubles match at No. 3, 6-2. After the Phoenix tied it up, Sanjeev Chundu / Aaron Sandler won at No. 1 to give the Quakers the early 1-0 lead.
 
The Red and Blue won three singles matches in straight sets to seal the victory. Graziani was the first to finish at No. 1, winning both sets by a score of 6-1. Matthew Rutter clinched the match, dropping just one game en route to his victory.
 
The afternoon match against TTU followed a similar story to Penn's morning match. Graziani / Shaurya Bharadwaj were the first to win at No. 3 with Chundu / Sandler clinching the doubles point by a score of 7-5.
 
In his first match of the spring season, Luka Butera won at No. 6 in straight sets. Shaurya Bharadwaj sealed the match for the Red and Blue to improve his overall singles record to 7-1.
