PHILADELPHIA – The Tewaaraton Foundation released its 2025 women's award watch list on Thursday night, with
Anna Brandt of the University of Pennsylvania women's lacrosse earning a spot on the list.
Senior Brandt added the Tewaaraton award watch list to her 2025 preseason resume, named a First Team Preseason USA Lacrosse All-American and Second Team Inside Lacrosse All-American earlier this year.
The midfielder led Penn and was sixth among Ivy League players with 60 goals, finishing 2024 second on the program's single-season list. A unanimous First Team All-Ivy selection last year, Brandt also earned All-Tournament at the Ivy League Tournament after she set ILT records for goals in a game (8 in Penn's semifinal win over Princeton) and a tournament (12).
The Maryland native comes into her senior year campaign third on the program's all-time list for goals, with 138—she needs just 11 to break Ali DeLuca's standard—and is 15th in career points (144).
