PRINCETON, N.J. – It was a successful final night of the 2025 Ivy League Championships for the University of Pennsylvania women's swimming and diving team as freshman
Kayla Fu won her first-career Ivy title in the 100 freestyle Saturday evening at DeNunzio Pool. The Quakers finish fifth place in the team standings with 990.5 points.
In addition to Fu's championship, junior
Anna Moehn earned her third silver medal of the week in the 1,650 free, while
Sydney Bergstrom picked up bronze.

*Fu narrowly beat out Princeton's Sabrina Johnston for the gold medal in the 100 free, clocking a 48.61 to Johnston's 48.64. It was also good enough for an NCAA B-Cut mark. Fu is just the second Quaker in program history (Lia Thomas in 2022) to win an Ivy title in the event.

Amy Qin took second place in the C-Final with a time of 50.57.
*Penn's last 12 individual champions have all been in freestyle events.
*The night began with a second-place finish and silver medal for Moehn in the 1,650 freestyle, coming up just short for the title for a second consecutive year. She clocked a 16:05.92, finishing just ahead of teammate
Sydney Bergstrom (16:07.96).
Anna Boeckman took fifth place with a time of 16:30.07, with
Jenna Jacobs (16.48.07) and
Abby Druhan (16:51.09) placing 10th and 11th, respectively.
*It was an eighth-place finish for
Kate Levensten in the A-Final of the 200 backstroke with a time of 1:57.34.
Katya Eruslanova placed seventh in the B-Final at 1:58.75.

Izzy Pytel participated in her final A-Final of the 200 breaststroke with a seventh-place mark of 2:15.51. Druhan (2:15.79) and
Kate Handley (2:17.46) went 1-2 in the C-Final.

Joy Jiang placed eighth in the 200 butterfly A-Final, clocking a 2:00.43.
Maggie Hu placed second in the B-Final with a time of 1:59.93, while
Lily Zhang took fifth at 2:00.11.
Erica Maltsev timed in at 2:01.42 to earn a second-place finish in the C-Final.
*Penn's 400 free relay team of Qin, Moehn,
Keara McGowan, and Eruslanova placed seventh with a time of 3:22.82.
