PHILADELPHIA – The Ivy League announced its Preseason Media Poll for the 2025 women's lacrosse season on Tuesday afternoon, with the University of Pennsylvania landing in the top three.
Penn earned second in the poll after ending the 2024 campaign with a 15-5 record, a 5-2 Ivy League record, and winning four battles against ranked opponents. The Quakers topped first-seeded Cornell in the Ivy League Tournament semifinals before falling to Princeton in the final round.
The Quakers return plenty of talent to the field this year, headed by Preseason All-Americans and 2024 All-Ivy honorees
Anna Brandt and
Erika Chung.
The Red and Blue open the 2025 season on Sunday against University City foe Drexel at noon.
