PRINCETON, N.J. – The University of Pennsylvania women's golf team finished fifth out of 13 teams at the Princeton Invitational. The two-day, 54-hole tournament concluded Sunday on the Tigers' par-71 course at Springdale Golf Club.

Penn shot 289-295-300 across the weekend to finish the tournament at 32-over-par 884. Host Princeton won the event on its home course, finishing at 1-under-par 851 which was nine strokes ahead of second-place Rutgers (860) and 15 ahead of third-place Columbia (866). Harvard was fourth with an 880 team score, the other Ivy team ahead of Penn, while Dartmouth (886) and Yale (905) were the Ivy teams behind the Quakers.
Individually, freshman
Mi Li entered the final round atop the leaderboard but could not hold that lead. After shooting an even-par 71 and a 3-under-par 68 on Saturday, she carded a 5-over-par 76 on Sunday that left her at 2-over-par 215 for the weekend. That left Li tied for seventh in a field of 78 golfers who finished the tournament. Of note, the freshman tied for second in the field with 10 birdies and tied for third overall in par-4 scoring (-1).
Senior
Julie Shin tied for 17th in the field and scored in all three rounds, finishing at 9-over-par 222 and tying for sixth in the field with 38 pars. Sophomore
Claire Lu ended the weekend at 226 (+13) to tie for 35th and finished at even par in par-3 scoring, tying for third in the field.
Junior
Maggie Ni shot even par in Saturday's first round and ended the weekend at 227 (+14), while senior
Bridget O'Keefe tied for Penn's low round on Sunday and finished the tournament at 233 (+20). Playing as an individual, junior
Madeleine Zang carded a 228 (+15) and tied for 40th in the field.
There was a three-way tie for first place as Columbia's Kristina Xu and two Princeton players, Olivia Duan and Thanana Kotchasanmanee, all finished at 2-under-par 211 for the weekend.
