PHILADELPHIA– The University of Pennsylvania women's tennis team competed in the Ivy ITA Conference Masters in Cambridge, Mass. on Friday, Oct. 24.
Sarah Wang,
Liza Tkachenko,
Lara Stojanovski and
Varsha Vedula competed in singles.
Tkachenko and Stojanovski also teamed up in doubles, along with
Esha Velaga and
Joleen Saw.
Tkachenko won her first round matchup against Cornell's Andrea Martinez before falling to Lauren Han of Dartmouth in the round of 64.
Esha Velaga and
Joleen Saw defeated Elise Wong and Brooke Hess of Dartmouth as they advanced to the quarterfinals round tomorrow.
