PHILADELPHIA – The University of Pennsylvania men's tennis team won both matches of its Sunday doubleheader to improve to 5-0 on the spring season.

The Quakers took down Ivy foe Yale, 5-2, in the first leg of their doubleheader.
 
On the doubles side, Shaurya Bharadwaj / Manfredi Graziani took down a ranked opponent for Penn's first win. No. 74 Parashar Bharadwaj / Tal Goodman defeated their opponent, 6-4 to secure the doubles points.
 
Goodman got on the board first, winning in consecutive sets at No. 2. Graziani came back down 5-1 in the second set against No. 91 Vignesh Gogineni to win 7-5. Matthew Rutter clinched the victory for the Red and Blue winning at No. 6. Shaurya Bharadwaj won in the 10-point match tiebreak set.
 
In the second match of the afternoon, Penn took down its Philly rival, Saint Joseph's, 4-0. With the victory, the Red and Blue improves to 22-0 all-time against the Hawks.
 
No. 74 Parashar Bharadwaj / Tal Goodman and Shaurya Bharadwaj / Manfredi Graziani made swift work of their opponents with both matches going 6-1 in favor of Penn.
 
In singles, Shaurya Bharadwaj got on the board first at No. 4, dropping just one set. Graziani followed suit at No. 1, winning 6-1, 6-0. Stephan Gershfeld completed the sweep in two sets.
