PHILADELPHIA – The Gymnastics East Conference (GEC) named Mimi Fletcher Newcomer of the Week following her performance at Penn's Senior Night.

Fletcher scored a 9.875 on the balance beam, securing a second-place finish. Her mark led the Quakers and is tied for the fourth highest by any gymnast in program history.
 
In two meets this season, she has scored a 9.8 or better with back-to-back second-place finishes.
 
The Quakers will travel to Washington D.C. to compete in the Lindsey Ferris Invite with George Washington, Fisk and Yale.
