PHILADELPHIA – With less than 35 days from the first draw, USA Lacrosse Magazine released its Division I women's lacrosse preseason top 20 rankings, with the University of Pennsylvania women's lacrosse team landing a spot.
 
Penn earned #12 in the USA Lacrosse magazine preseason rankings to kick off the 2025 season.
 
The Quakers ended the 2024 campaign with a 15-5 overall record, making it to the NCAA women's lacrosse quarterfinal round against Northwestern. Penn went 5-2 in Ivy League action, competing in the Ivy League tournament final for the second consecutive year. The Red and Blue return All-Ivy honorees Anna Brandt and Erika Chung while adding ten fresh faces to the field this season.
 
Penn starts off the 2025 season against Philly foe Drexel on Sunday, Feb. 16, at noon.
