Dolan Earns Tenth Ivy Coach of the Year Honor to Highlight All-Ivy T&F

PHILADELPHIA – The Ivy League announced the postseason honors for the 2024 outdoor track & field season on Tuesday afternoon, and Penn head coach Steve Dolan was honored as the Women's Coach of the Year in a unanimous vote by his peers.

Dolan has now been named Ivy Heps Coach of the Year ten times—twice for men's cross country, four times each for women's indoor and outdoor seasons—after the women's team collected its fourth Outdoor Heps title across the last five runnings of this event. Penn won this weekend by the slimmest of margins, scoring 184.5 points and nipping second-place Princeton (184) by just a half point. The win was secured on the final lap of the weekend's final race, the 4x400 relay, when Aliya Garozzo ran down the Tigers' anchor leg in the final turn and won the race by 2.09 seconds.

The Quakers are heavily represented on the men's and women's All-Ivy teams again this season, including several who earned first-team honors after claiming 11 individual wins and two relays titles at the Ivy Heps over the weekend. Below are the honorees for All-Ivy…

The league also announced the Academic All-Ivy honorees, with Toney and Lavery representing Penn.
 
The Quakers return to action this Saturday at the IC4A/ECAC Championships, which are being hosted by George Mason University.
